The Austrian Technion Society is non-political. It promotes contacts and
peaceful cooperations between the Technion - ISRAEL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,
the oldest university of Israel, and the Austrian universities and research
centers as well as the industries of both countries. In the wake of these
activities, the Austrian Technion Society also assists the contacts and
cooperations with other universities and research centers, in the neighbouring
countries and beyond.
In particular the Austrian Technion Society promotes contacts between
professors and the exchange of scientific information, the exchange of
professors and senior students, as well as the initiation and the support of
joint scientific and scientific-industrial projects.
